One thing we can't do
We can't give personal financial or tax advice, and we can't recommend a specific charity for you to give to — that choice is yours, and our guide to choosing a charity you can trust is there to help you make it. For questions about your own tax position, HMRC or a qualified adviser is the right place to go.
And to be clear, because our name can mislead: we're an independent guide, not a charity or a payroll-giving agency. We never collect donations or handle anyone's giving.
